REGIONAL INFORMATION
Texas Bayfront Ranch is located immediately east of Point Comfort in Calhoun County Texas. State Highway 35, which runs from Houston to Corpus Christi, bisects the property for approximately 1.25 miles. Another major county road bisects the property for 2.5 miles, giving the property great accessibility.

Calhoun County Airport is a close 12 miles from the property and can accommodate most private planes. Palacious Municipal Airport is just less than 18 miles to the East. If these airports are not close enough, the Texas Bayfront Ranch can accommodate its own landing strip, as depicted on the initial concept plan.
Even though there is not a large population within the immediate vicinity, Texas Bayfront Ranch is centrally located within 150 miles of several major metropolitan areas including Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi.
According to the Calhoun County Economic Development Corporation, approximately 10 million people live within this 150 mile radius, and another 10 million people live within a 300 mile radius, which includes the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. A recreational or second home market for the property can be supported by the 10 million people living within a 3 hour drive.

Texas Bayfront Ranch is at approximately the same subtropical latitude as Orlando Florida. Sunshine, sea breezes and moderate temperatures allow outdoor activity much of the year. Weather is substantially influenced by the Gulf and the large bays which tend to moderate temperature extremes in both summer and winter. The area has more than 200 days of sunshine annually and rainfall is well distributed throughout the year. This fits in line with the recreational/second home market segment we have envisioned for the property.
